New
England Press Association recognized Peter Cavanna and awarded
him “second place” in the sports photography, weekly newspaper
classification for “highest achievement in Sports Photography”. The
annual Better Newspaper Contest run by NEPA was created to promote
excellence in community newspapers and has grown to be one of the
biggest and most respected of its kind in the country.
